Holy shit I guess our win over SDSU outweighed the loss @Fresno. Or my theory about Wednesday games not being as important as Saturday games to the pollsters is true.

We improved in both polls!

30th in both polls!
Looks like a win over UNLV and AFA and we could be back in baby!
Many too bad we lost to Fresno or we would be up there!

I'd love to get ranked again, but I really like where Wyoming is right now. Still being ranked #30 shows that there's some legitimate respect out there for the Pokes. They don't need it, but it's still cool.

It'll be tough to crack back into the Top 25 this season. The league seems too tough to go on a long enough winning streak to get back in, but you never know.

I disagree about cracking the top 25 again. Now that we are this close and we are in MWC play it takes one week onf 2 wins 0 losses. Sure you might be out the next week but you could be back in the following week.
Just like the Big East does. MWC is getting a lot of respect by people and as long as we don't drop 2 games this week we have a very good chance of being ranked again this season.

IF we beat UNLV and AFA, I think we are in.

To be honest, I don't want to be ranked again. Wyoming always has and always will be a better underdog than a favorite. Not being ranked and having that little chip on our shoulder seems to be better than being ranked and trying not to lose it. That's probably just me though.

The thing that really drives me nuts about the Polls, Virginia Commonwealth holy over rated team. I mean let's be honest they are the Wyoming team in the Atlantic 10 Conference weak OOC schedule beat a #19 team and lost to everyone else worth a shit. They played the low end of the conference and beat them all. So if Wyoming beat BSU and Fresno would we be 15th or higher?

That is something to consider and think about.

It shouldn't, but I think it does. If VCU was one an done 2 years ago, I don't believe they'd be ranked as high as they are right now.

This is where I wish the MWC had better visibility nationally on T.V. in basketball. Look at Creighton for example.....2 losses, got destroyed by Boise at home, still ranked. Oh and not just still ranked, but #17! But we see them more often. Everyone knows who Doug McDermott is. I guarantee you most of these national "experts" couldn't name a single player on any team in the MWC. Jamaal Franklin maybe. Probably not.

Some ignore the heavy value exposure has in the college game, but make no mistake about it....its everything.
