I thought the exact same thing.. Let their new coach take the fall :lol: Rocky just kind of slipped out the back door and got out of dodge. I don't respect that either, to leave UNM in such bad shape is just unforgivable.

I don't think he left them high and dry, they had a starting QB returning, good running back, tough defense, but there non-conf schedule is pretty tough this year except for NMSU (as opposed to puffcake bowl years). I really believe he was tired of trying to build a program after having success - 4 bowl games in a row (even though one was stolen from us) and having a lack of big time support from the fans. They have recently had academic violations, lawsuits, etc, what a mess. I found myself rooting for the WAC to beat a MWC team last night because I can't stand the Lobos. If I were Rocky I would get out to, only thing he did wrong was going to SDSU, wtf, jumping out of the bad program frying pan into a bad program fire!

Next up Texas Tech, they will be 0-5 when they roll into Laramie, leave 0-6 and hopefully the season will be over after losing to UNLV Oct 10th (0-7). They can run the table after that for all I care.
