To everyone asking if they adjusted the net or not.

Yes, they adjusted the rim. I was sitting in the first row, right next to the basket in question. When the ref and janitor dude came out with the pole, the pole was hanging a few inches from the ground... They did, in fact lower it.

I didn't see anyone adjust it, but again, I was too busy dancing to "Jump - Van Halen".

Sounds like some NM fans (including a few NM twitter feeds) are making this a huge deal and spinning it though. What cocks.

Oh, and the NM coach is a complete dick licker.

Why in the fuck would they complain about it?
We had to shoot on a 10'3 basket for the first half, they got 10' for both halves...we are the ones that should be complaining, they got a gift.

#53 for the lobos when warming up reached up to grab the net, and could only grab a little bit of it - he said something to a ref and his coaches, then the measurement and adjustment took place. Afterword he went over and grabbed the net again this time being able to grab much more of the net.

I was sitting row 4. next to student section. As for how it got off I don't know the dunk could have done something.
