New Mexico/Rice Basketball Game

Did anyone else catch the end of the New Mexico/Rice Basketball game in the PIT? Wow! It was tied up with about 13 seconds to go, New Mexico had the ball & turned it over, Rice took a shot - missed, the ball was on the floor, New Mexico dove and got it with 0.1 seconds left and then called time out - but they didn't have any time outs left, automatic technical foul - Rice makes one and wins.

This loss could be huge at the end of the season for New Mexico.

To top it off, SDSU has seemingly fallen off the edge of the world.

There is no way of telling whether or not the new rule change had anything to do with the incident but with one less time out, the coaches and players are learning on the fly. Tough way to go down.
