81-65 today.
And last night they barely beat UAB in 2OT. They were down 3 and hit a buzzer beater to tie it at the end of the 2nd half ad they were running down the court.
They are putting up lots of points on teams, but seem to have very bad defense.
And as of now, it's looking like they aren't the same Lobos of the past 5 years.
Maybe Steve Alford isn't as bad of a coach as some people were saying he was.
Meanwhile UCLA snuck past their first opponent and has since beat the living shit out of the last 2 teams they played.
If NM, SDSU, and UNLV are all down, then this conference is wide open.
Before I make any predictions about where NM will finish, I want to see how they respond over their next couple games.
