New Mexico losing QB

Stump Godfrey is leaving New Mexico. Might make that game a little easier since he put up some good numbers against us last year.

So will this be Mike Locksley's last year at NM?

No. UNM doesn't have the money or support to look at other options. Locksley brings in solid talent.....that's about all the reason they need in Albuquerque to keep him. Sad really.

Still can't believe Wyoming lost to that borderline FCS program. I remember returning home from out of town and seeing that score, followed by a loud "ARE YOU F!CKING SERIOUS THEY LOST TO THE HOBOS!?!?!?!". That UNM game has revenge written all over it. I can see the Poke losing a lot of games in 2011, but not that one.

3 key turnovers are what lost it. Over 300 yards rushing, but those 3 turnovers cost us.

Yeah, I searched up the highlights and could only shake my head. No way it happens again this year.....

Wyoming can fall as far as it wants, losing to a team that lost to New Mexico State is NEVER acceptable. Its game like that one and the UNLV debacle that have me thinking CDC rightfully deserves to be on the hot seat if positive results are shown in 2011. Anything 4-8 and below should not be dubbed a "rebuilding year"
