No need to complain about refs. They call fouls for both teams. I’m sick of going to other teams message boards to see them constantly bitching about refs saying they got screwed by them. No need for us to be like that. Refs are part of the game.

By the way those aren’t MWC refs.

Those refs do games for the MWC, PAC 12, WAC, WCC, Big Sky and any western conference. They ref all of them.

So has nothing to do with the MWC.

Bad loss. Wyoming loses two more games the rest of the year and they are out of the NCAA tournament.

I complained about them, and the calls may go both ways, but the MW has horrible officials, IMO. A charge call ought to be consistent, and they aren’t as an example. The calls may not have cost us the game, but IMO, the MWC officials are just bad. In football too. That said, The Pokes indeed lost tonight.

They were some in this thread complaining about reffing. Most complain most games about it and it’s stupid. They are part of the game.

We never lose games because of refs. We lose because we don’t make enough plays. Doesn’t matter if it’s tonight or any other loss. That’s my point.

Again they aren’t MWC refs. They ref every western region conference so it has nothing to do with the MWC. They refs PAC 12 games and WAC and everyone else as well.

You would have to contact the western region for officials whether it’s an association or whatever. If you had some type of complaint about them. Has nothing to do with one conference.

This game was unfortunately too predictable being a cowboys fan. I have the same feeling I had when the 2016 division leading football team went to New Mexico and gave up 600 yards rushing. We can never just enjoy success.


I really hope to see this team bounce back strong. Beat CSU next week and all is forgiven.

What a colassal let down. Still, that's only our 4th loss and 2nd conference loss. We need to demolish Air Force at home, then get ready for a TOUGH stretch to close out the season.

Maldo was 2-12 and Jeffries was 2-9 with one of his makes being a layup. Jeffries has been in a slump since the csewe game. Dusell has been mostly invisible on offense since he came back from his injury. This is where not having a pure point guard hurts us. Maldo is just not a point guard. He's had multiple games with more than 5 turnovers this year.

But.....it's a long season. No need to panic. We win this Sat. and then win at csewe and we are right back in the driver's seat. We can win at csewe. The match ups for Ike and Maldo are much better for us. Everyone lays an egg at some point in a long season. I trust Linder to make the necessary adjustments and get us back on track.
