New Mexico Bowl Recap:

The Road

Well-known member
A game this good deserved a recap this long. One of the best games I've ever watched. Incredibly jealous of everyone that saw the game in person.

Awards will be in a separate post. Plenty of more analysis in the next few days.

Enjoy this win!

didnt realize we beat them in every single stat we had to play close to perfect and we did ACS played out of his mind i just dont know why we were giving the ball to Stewart when Alexanders speed was killing Fresno so much but regardless get watts a scholarship, we won, and our future looks bright just hope DC stays

Agreed. Watts earned that Scholarship this season, and OT kick aside, really saved us when it mattered.

I don't know why, but DC strikes me as the type of guy who isn't going to bolt after just a couple of seasons. But only time will tell. If and when it comes down to it, the Pokes need to do everything in their power to keep him long term. Rename Laramie to Christiansenville, make him Governor, pay him Mack Brown type money ($5 million a season), do whatever it takes to keep him around long term.
