As I said on my Twitter account, Temple is in PA but people in PA don't know where the Hell Temple is. I know this as I use to live there.

We're the largest University in the largest city in the state. We're the second largest University in Pennsylvania behind Penn State. We have nearly 10K more students than Pitt. With all of that in mind, no one has heard of us, and no one knows where we're located. Makes a lot of sense. You must've lived in Pennsyltucky.

And I am still waiting for you to talk about football and not the student population of Temple.

Don't go to another teams bored and try to stir up something... you searched us out (I can tell by your post total) and then try stirring the pot with your schools info. I posted something on a Wyoming forum for Wyoming fans, I do not try to stir things up by searching out another teams board and posting my first couple of post when they are playing all of a sudden. I would expect to see the negative about Wyoming on a Temple board though... so why don't you go find one. :brick:

Should be a good game. Hopefully the D can make plays and get off the field, because that O Line is massive. Hopefully the offense doesn't sputter and have a quarter where they have nothing but 3 and outs. Pierce is a really good back. But, so was Ryan Matthews... just saying.

I stirred the pot? You posted an absolutely asinine comment about my University and I was not going to let that stand. Yeah, I searched for your message board, although I've known about this site before posting here. I also posted on your Rivals board. This is what fans do before Bowl Games/March Madness. I did the same on SDSU's board and they were great. Several of your fans posted on our Rivals board without issue. As far as posting negatively about the Pokes, you won't see it from me. You have a good football program and a very good QB and RB. I've also been to Wyoming and it is a beautiful state. If you want to read that we're disappointed we're playing Wyoming instead of SDSU, UCLA, UNC, Wake, Air Force, I'm sure you can find a comment on our board. Go Owls.

I don't have a problem with Temple as I have said do not know enough about them. My original post was posted as a joke and was not negative as a lot of people do not know where Temple is. I will do my research on Temple and post more some may be good some may be not so good (as you said that is what fans do) but it will be posted here because as I said I will not do that on another team forum. I have seen it done here in the past and I think it is wrong. I hope it is a great game and wish you guys the best of luck.

Now for a serious question, how many fans do you think Temple will be able to bring across the country?

I will say also that I lived in the Lancaster area of PA back in the early's 2000's.

Again good luck to you guys because at the end of the day I just want a Wyoming win but I also want it to be a good game.

The ENTIRE MWC got the shaft in matchups. Boise vs a 6-6 coachless ASU team? TCU vs La Tech? Hair Thompson botched these tie-in's.

MWC should have had 4 AQ matchups in Bowls. Hair was not the problem.

Champ -- SHould have gone BCS but screwed there
Las Vegas gets a Weak PAC team since the PAC sucks this year
New Mexico should have been a PAC team but not enough qualified (thank you USC)
Poinsetta is against the WAC champ
Independence against ACC but Air Force wanted Traded to the military Bowl so we did.

It was a bad year for the PAC, Air Force did it to themselves, and the BCS screwed our champ. That is why we are playing who we are playing. Nothing Hair did

I never watch BCS games. I go out of my way to ignore them. The BCS is money and greed, and those are the same reason's I don't watch the NFL.

I will watch this bowl game and all of the MWC bowl games this year - regardless of the opponents. I will probably drive down and see the New Mexico Bowl in person.

Wyoming might want a BCS opponent (I don't), but as far as I'm concerned, the BCS can kiss my ass.

Wyoming and the MW gets no coverage all year on the self proclaimed world wide leader and when they do get mention, Rece Davis and Craig James literally laugh condescendingly the entire 15 seconds and can't even convey any details.

"Pony" is half a fag who not only murdered five prostitutes at smu but played big roles in getting two men that have more football knowledge in their stool in Bruce Feldman and Mike Leach out of their jobs.

Rece Davis is a cunt too.

I think this should be a great game and will be very pleasantly surprised if Wyoming wins.

This! I was pissed at ESPN more than anything. It's sad to me that the program has fallen off so bad that when we're mention in a bowl people laugh. Whenever we won this year, especially the SDSU game, it was always "I cant believe we lost to Wyoming. The team beat themselves."

I feel disrespected. Not that that should matter to me either because we won and what not, but it DOES bother me. I couldn't be happier that we are 8-4 and going bowling. I had a feeling last spring that we were going to have a special season with all the talent we brought in. I just feel like people don't respect us..ever and it gets on my nerves. I got in an argument on a different board awhile back with someone making jokes about Wyoming athletics. Nothing makes my veins bulge more than that.

I'm not going to complain. Though to be honest, I'm a bit worried about playing a run-heavy team with a huge offensive line. It's definitely not the ideal matchup unless our offense can keep our defense off the field for long stretches of time.

I'm just excited that we're playing in a bowl, and I think the New Mexico bowl was pretty much perfect for us as it's going to be like home field advantage. Got to love the awesome Lobos fans who come out dressed in Brown and Gold!
