New Football Uniforms

Wow, I looked today and they didn't have a chest logo. Well, that's interesting, personally I like the chest logo. When you looked did it have Wyoming written on the chest as well? I am going to have to check it out again tonight. Either way I prefer the jerseys i've seen today vs last years.
 
It seems to me that I heard during an interview with Christensen that he received several negative comments from recruits about New Balance having the Wyoming contract and that had something to do with the switch to Nike. Whether or not that is spin from Christensen, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I head something to this effect on KFBC's Sportszone out of Cheyenne.

Obviously so if that's the reason we dropped New Balance. I thought we were unique for having New Balance but unfortunately 18 year old recruits probably don't think so. They want Nike, Under Armour, or some "cool" brand..
 
I disagree cornpoke. I dig the nike uni's over being "unique" any day. Also, a best friend of mine goes to ASU and I love their unis. He likes this new design for us too. Image is everything haha
 
Personally I'm an Adidas fan, but if having Nike will help with recruiting and make us better I'm all for it. Any advantage we can get.

The only change I can say I don't like is taking the Steamboat logo off the shoulders. They could put a Nike logo in the middle Steamboat for all I care, I just think the Wyo logo should be more prevalent.

I know what I like, I just may have to buy the game or modify it online to see what I like, or better yet, wait until the season starts to see what they actually will be wearing.
 
I haven't been to this page to see any of this proposed information, but I can tell you one solid fact..... DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING EA SPORTS portrays! In fact, they will likely be the exact opposite of whatever EA SPORTS shows. For the last two years they have had the pants and tops reversed. At home they had us wearing brown over white, and on the road white over yellow... when it was actually brown over yellow and white over white. Two years ago, not only were they reversed like this, but they had a mix of gold and yellow. They had the new gameday gold correct in the stripes, but they had the old prairie gold around the numbers. It looked ridiculous. So, if they show white pants at home, chances are those are the uniforms that will be in the game AGAIN, but not what we will actually wear.

I can echo this.......EA Sports also has a mythical green uniform for Hawaii. While it is very nice, UH does not nor has any plans to have that uniform. I would wait until the real release before making judgment.
 
I think I like the EA uniforms better than the current ones.. but I definitely like the retros the best.

I wish we'd go back to the unis we had from 1987-96 permanently!!!!

Not sure if there is a "current one".

Hopefully Nike does a good job, I hope they do away with the Gold uniform....wasn't a fan of those....

Yes the 96 version is the best I've seen so far. I love the helmet with the triple stripe the most. I could live with that version forever, but little tweaks to something good are cool too. I think more could be done with the jerseys and pants, if they use a similar portion of brown, gold and white. Tomorrow I will revert to my old avator with Ward Dobbs in the throwback jerseys they wore stomping a mudhole in the Utes in 06.

I also agree EA sports probably has it wrong. They couldn't get it right when we all knew what it was supposed to look like, how could they get it right when even we aren't sure?
