i guess that's why i'm not a graphic designer

i'm guessing the department has already tried nearly every combination before they rolled it out

I like it, and I'm glad to see the logo in brown and gold. Looks a little less like it came out of a Tron movie.

But I still think the whole thing would look better in the "prairie gold" of the late 90's-early 2000's.

Crucify away. :cool:

GO POKES!
:shock::(:?

Choke yourself.

That was great. "Get on your knees and choke yourself!! With MY hand numb nuts!"

I understand this isn't gonna change, and I'm probably wasting my time defending this. While I really like the look of the new turf and I'll survive either way I really feel like the prairie gold would look better on the field. The field, not apparel. If the intent is to replicate the natural look of Wyoming, the prairie gold is a color you see looking any direction from War Memorial and just about anywhere else in Wyoming. The only place you see the "Gameday Gold" color in nature is on the brown-eyed susan or similar flowers.

Keep in mind that I'm only advocating it for the field, not to change all our uniforms and apparel back to prairie gold. Though I suppose there would be an issue with playing in Gameday gold uniforms on a prairie gold field. Anyway, just my two cents.

Is it too much to ask for one of you photoshop gurus to try the prairie gold so we can at least see how it looks?

Yes it is too much to ask for! Prairie gold is out, it is gone, don't even bother with it. Ick!
