Cole Turner 6'5" 270lbs OL from Cedar Rapids,IA. Looks good on film.

It's hard to say, but from the article it sounds like joint effort.

Turner said UW assistant coach Pete Kaligis initially recruited him. Kaligis was retained by newly hired head coach Craig Bohl. Turner also said Scott Fuchs, who is on Bohl's staff at North Dakota State and will join Bohl at UW, also was involved in his recruitment. Fuchs is the offensive line coach at North Dakota State.

My guess is Turner was a prospect both staffs were recruiting. Turner is a kid that we had been on quite a long time but hadn't offered until recently. Also seems he is closer to 285-pounds now.

These are the identity building kids we need. Iowa. Powerful. Love for the state and for what makes it great. Top wrestler in a state that doesn't mess around with wrestling, or football for that matter.

If he places at IOWA state wrestling this year, we need to get him on the wrestling team as well! I just read that he started wrestling last year and is 14-1 so far on this season. Someone that can learn that quickly could blossom into a college wrestling star!

Remember Hoffschneider competed at both football and wrestling for Wyoming!

Bohl and vigen both talked him into committing , big aggressive kid. Bohl and NDSU likes to take tall players and build them 20-30lbs. So get used to that, mainly 65 66 67 guys.

He's not going to the University of Agriculture and Applied Science.

He's going to an FBS school. He's going to be a Cowboy.

No JV football for that guy!

Gotta dig those cornfed kids from Iowa. A wrestler too! They always make for better ball players!

Any idea on other FBS schools that also tried to sign him?
Some tried to convince him to walk-on (Iowa schools).

And a bit off topic, but going through the databases, we're only going after one FB, and that's according to scout. Rivals has no section on FBs.

Screw rivals and scout, they don't know anything about Wyo sports. I am sure Bohl is going after the players he wants, regardless of what the interns at scout/rivals who gets assigned low level MWC and MAC teams reports.

looks like Bohl is going after NDSU recruits now.

Wyoming offers Malauulu and David Reese.

David Reese #Blessed Just Picked up another D1 offer from the University of Wyoming.
@gridironarizona: Buena DT Sidney Malauulu tweeted out tonight that he has been offered by Wyoming. Also has one from North Dakota State.

Yes, Royne Winters tweeted that WYO called him today "Wyoming called today i feel so good ! lol"

Good.

They don't want to play FCS football.

Who would if you didn't have to? Just hope they are good enough to play at the FBS level. I'm sure if Coach Bohl thinks so, they probably are.

Go Pokes!

another stalking post^

NDSU currently has 20 or so kids with FBS offers on thier roster.

Good.

They can follow UW Coach Bohl to Laramie, sit out a year and "bulk up". Then they can play FBS football, where they belong.

No more subdivision football for them! :D
