I have no problem with confidence.... Just as long as they keep in perspective. Vontez Burfict used to play with hate and he transformed into a dumbass

I'm not a big fan of the Brave heart face paint. whatever works i guess.

Yeah, I doubt Bohl will allow anything along those lines. Gotta love excitable 18-year-olds, though.

More excitable 18-year-old tweets:

Richard Bettencourt: Love seeing my recruiting class for 2014 getting some great recruits! Can't wait to grind with y'all.

Cole Turner‏ (To Daniel Vega): The Family couldn't be more happy to have you!! Can't wait to compete for a few more championships with you! #gowyo #gopokes

Dumbass, yes...but an extremely successful dumbass.

170+ tackles last year. Woof.

Oh I agree. Just saying that if someone harnesses the hate they can be effective. If they are just playing reckless, then they don't do us any favors with that.

That dude is the nastiest son-of-a-bitch to play linebacker since Jack Lambert.

Once Burfict started playing with controlled emotion he became a stud player. He got benched many times at ASU because he was just pissed all the time and would do very STUPID things.

Is it me or has this particular class been more enthusiastic than previous? Bohl may be selling "Wyoming" more than last regime IMO.

Honestly it is the type of kid he looks for. He won a lot a lot of games off of kids with chips on their shoulders that were very hard nosed.

I've noticed that too. These kids are all really pumped to be playing for the Pokes.

When you come from a smaller school like Bohl has, you have to learn how to sell your school to recruits.

Now I wasn't around here before Bohl, but the sense I get is that your previous coach wasn't real invested in the school or state, and mainly was using his first head coaching job as a stepping stone (which he obviously failed at). If your head coach isn't invested in the school/state, its hard for the recruits to be.

Nailed It. :agree:

They already formed quite the bond, especially only having known each other for a week or two if they've even met at all.

Bohl has done well given his timeline. I'm most impressed with his ability to breath a little life into a very down program and sell that vision to recruits.

Yea bohl won't let that face paint fly....but he will let them be aggressive. ..ndsu had a few helmet to helmet Unnecessary hits but he'd rather have them aggressive!
