Nevada

I've watched a lot of Cowboy basketball over the years, but that was perhaps one of the most amazing performances/comebacks that I can remember. Wow!!!

The only one I can think of that is on the same level is that game on the road against Dayton two season ago. Absolutely crazy game. We looked so inept for most of the game and then suddenly we didn't. Imagine if we played that way from the opening tip. We would have put 85 points on the board. What a way to go into our 8 day break. Get healthy and get ready boys! Lets make a run.

Ha, after being down 15 I figured the team could still do it. Even down big at half I figured there was a chance.

When Hank and McManimal were hitting 3's it was ON!

The best part is we get Nance back for the game next week. Did you guys see Nance on the bench joking around and laughing when Cooke missed that lay up and got fouled in the last 30 seconds of the game. You can tell he is feeling a lot better.

Whatever happened in the 2nd half, they need to find a way to bottle it up and save it for the MW tournament.

I'll admit. I got discouraged at the half. And besides, I was constipated. So I went upstairs and watched TV and sat on the stool a lot with no results. Then I went back downstairs to turn off the computer. There was two minutes left in the game. THE POKES PULLED IT OFF! Two problems solved!

Gutsy performance. I hope Hankerson finds some confidence, McManimal can keep it up, and the team rallies around this. That was amazing to watch. You could see the change in the body language and attitude as the 2nd half ticked away. Just an awesome win.

That's a weird thing to tell everyone.

Just finished reading page 2 and 3 of this thread and wow the mood really changed on a dime.

This is the start of the third act of the poke's Disney movie. Rest of the regular season flies by in montage, then a MWC tournament win followed by a miracle run to the Elite Eight, losing on a last second shot to Kentucky.

I got this thing all planned out.

I think you are thinking of the Illinois State game. I will never forget that game, even though I wasn't able to watch it. I was flying into Seattle and anxiously awaiting the opportunity to check the score as soon as I could turn on my phone (the plane didn't have WiFi). We landed and I checked and was disappointed to see we were down by 14 or something at the half. Dejected, I put my phone away and went through the drudgery of getting out of the airport and getting to the hotel. I remember I ended up in a suite on the top level of the hotel that was probably the biggest suite I have ever stayed in (either I had the most travel program status of any guests that night or they took pity on me because I probably looked like my dog died thinking about the Pokes losing their first game of the year). Well, I get settled and finally muster up the courage to check on the game...lo and behold, the Pokes won..by 14! At first, I thought I had seen either the halftime or the final score wrong. Nope, a great comeback win.

Anyway, luckily I didn't have time to embarrass myself on here at halftime of that comeback. :?

Only six turnovers. That's how you win on the road.
That was a huge key. Shot like poo from ft and three but still won. Crazy
Yeah, I didn't want to mention the 56% from the FT line. Need to clean that up heading into the final stretch.

Stunning comeback.

Yep good call. Got my teams wrong. Thanks. That game was crazy.

Shyatt let them attack and it it paid off. Not too much of wasting the clock and hucking up a shot

I am glad we won....but damn fellas we had 13 points at half! That shit was horrific to watch! Second half was so much more fun to watch, looked like Poppa Shy finally stopped trying to control every possession and turned the horses loose. Now keep them running and don't put the dam bit back in their mouth.

Agreed. It was AF and SDSU all over again. I damn turned the game off. Glad I didnt. What a bipolar team. As long as the second half team shows up from here on, we'll be ok.
