...hell NDSU not being FBS is a complete travesty, this senior class could beat any FBS team

You sure do have a lot of pride in NDSU. But that statement makes me believe you have been drinking your own piss. Again.

"Could" was the operative word.

Umm there is no way.
Do you think the best D2 team could beat every FCS team?

There are a lot of fans of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science that believe their football team could be in an elite BCS bowl and complete. Of course, there are some reasonable ones that know that isn't true.

I've said it before here. I believe this squad from Fargo is the best FCS team ever. But, there is no way they could defeat an elite BCS program or even win more than two games in an elite conference like the SEC. They'd sustain too many injuries with the starters taking on those teams. After their starters are gone, the season would become a nightmare.

But, they are extremely good for what they are. What they are is a FCS team playing for a national championship on a soccer field in Frisco Texas against a school named Townson. Which I had to look up. It's in Maryland. My pneumatic device is to remember Pete Townsend of the Who.

I don't need a pneumatic device to remember Alabama, Florida State or Auburn.

After this year, they lose an outstanding senior class. Coach Bohl has said that he has taken this team as far as he can. That's very true. After graduating this class (Okay, maybe we should say after their eligibility ends..) next years squad will come down to earth as a very good FCS team. But, they may never return to this dominant a force in FCS.

In that postgame interview posted above with at about the two minute mark, coach Bohl just happens to mention that 11 of the key seniors were recruited by Brent Vigen. Interesting comment on his part. Maybe of the two coordinators, we didn't do so badly in bringing the one we did here.

+1

Hopefully he can recruit well here and be groomed as a possible future HC

Here's your pneumatic device

Not sure what impact you hope to make with the bolded part. You do realize that UW, like NDSU, is a Land Grant Research Institution?

Of course I realize that.

Did you know the official name for the school in Fargo is "North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Science"? Just like other schools under the Morrill Land Grant Act. Good law. Helped a lot of people. My family homesteaded in North Dakota. Did the sod house and everything.

Many are proud of it. Like at UW. CSU students proudly wear orange and green "Aggies" shirts. They are proud of it.

Not so much in Fargo. Which is kind of sad, being that agriculture is huge in North Dakota.

Many of their fans refuse to acknowledge the name "University of North Dakota". So, I don't call them by their shortened name. I just use the last part.

Indeed they do.

It probably started at an FBS school, not a subdivision one.

okay sir....congrats on the championship....not completely sure why you feel the need to come on here and act like an arrogant ****? Really...the four fingers for the forth quarter......that isn't original. I understand you seem to think your team has a grand tradition etc.....and again congrats on the dominance with the transition with coach Bohl at helm. But seriously acting like your school has some deep tradition/arrogance when only playing FCS football recently...come on man.

*By the way, I have gone to games at the FargoDome.....even back when you guys played UND so I'm not just rambling on a message board. WYO is my team and it is more than insulting the recent arrogance and attitude by some NDSU fans. I realize the format and the sensitivities of fans on both sides but it appears the disrespect is primarily coming from one side.

Happy New Year and stay warm. :twocents:

Lol still with the FCS argument? Jesus...you would think Wyo is playing NDSU with the way this guy talks shit.

NDSU is awesome, we have all said that like, 20 times a piece! But at the end of the day, you STILL play FCS football not REAL D1.
