NDSU game thread.

Refs gave NDSU a free 5 yards. That punt returner was at the 14 not the 19. Screwed us out of 5 yards when the overturned the fumble. How did none of our coaches pick up on that? I just backed it up and confirmed it.

Does it even matter?
By that logic they shouldn't have even reviewed the td and just gave it to us because it doesn't matter.

No I'm not saying the refs are losing us the game, but yes giving a free 5 yd on that is clearly a ref mistake. This is not a subjective ref decision that could go either way This is after a review The refs fully messing up a very clear spot by a full 5 yards because they didn't actually review it correctly. And yes a defense does usually do better when an offense is backed up further on the field then out at the 20 or further so it could have made a difference.

I can remember so many games where we either have given up an opening kickoff td or first play turnover. Feels like our team probably more of those cases then any other team
wish someone would explain to me why on that 4th and 2 Wyo had a safety 13 yards off the ball.
What the hell good is he gonna do?

That's a holding call that we're angry about if it gets called on us. The whistle has largely been in our favor thus far, which is an odd feeling.

I hope we see some significant changes at halftime. Starting with a QB change.

231 yards and 17 points for the former Wyoming OC turned loose from the control of Bohl.

73 yards and 0 points for the hand picked current Wyoming HC Bohl offense is an afterthought mindset.

Wyoming is definitely in the bottom1/8 of the FBS teams. That is like 119th place. Maybe 113th place just to be generous.

Forest through the trees man.

Don't know what you're arguing man. I get it. We are going to lose this game. I never thought otherwise. But you are arguing that you are good with refs putting the ball at wrong positions in the field on kickoff returns? Why are we even playing the game? We should have just forfeited based on that logic. Why not just have the refs put it at the 50-yard line for NDSU each time? Again forest through the trees, it doesn't matter where the refs put it so why not just put it at midfield regardless of where they are tackled.

Again, I'm not saying anything about the refa losing us the game, which is clearly not the case. We have so many problems with this team the refs are not one of them. But this was a clear ref mistake and my question is how did no one on our coaching staff catch that and get the refs to fix it?
