Natrona/Sheridan football game

Just saw the score. It was not covered at all in our local media. Did not even hear it on the Wyoming pregame radio broadcast. I would have thought it would have gotten more publicity. After all first loss in 5 years seems awfully newsworthy to me.

Natrona looks absolutely dominant this year. Steve Harshman is going to be the state schools superintendent starting in January so this will be his last year coaching. Great chance he goes out on top.

It actually got covered in USA Today: https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...all-winning-streak-ends-59-games/91949911007/

And if Sheridan had won, they would have had the longest streak in the country. The school in NY ahead of them lost on Saturday.

Well, has the second most wins in state history. So not sure what "doing less" really means.

He is a good man and coach. Clearly Wyoming voters agree.
He had the pick of the litter ( especially so before KW got remodeled ) from Casper and won only like three or four championships in what, 35 years? and let Sheridan own him. Let any other coach have that situation and they would have put his record and accomplishments to shame.

He has won 7 and could be on his way to 8.

I guess if anybody can do it then the next coach will win 8 more. We will see.
