Names on Jerseys

I've got quite a few of the numbers memorized to the names - but I don't have them all down. I guess it makes it tough for me to critisize.

Seriously - I'm a hardcore fan and I make mistakes and forget in this system.

When names and numbers are on the back - I have a hell of alot better chance of thinking it all through.

I hear you one this and I wouldn't object, but I don't think Bohl will do it. He's a strict name on the front superseding the name on the back of a jersey kind of guy.

It's best to put the player's last name on the jersey.
I would always put names on jerseys. I think it is respectful to their name and their accomplishments. It does not mean that they are not a team first players. I would not play on a team that did not put my name on the jersey.

What annoyed me last year was not only did Bohl remove the names from uniforms, but all the faces on the poster were even blacked out except for his. It gave off the vibe of "Individuals don't matter, unless that individual is me" from Bohl

And?...

I also like names on the jersey for football. For basketball I don't mind as much cuz there isn't as many kids and you can see faces. Much easier to learn who people are. In football there are so many people and with helmets it becomes difficult to learn everyone. I am not going to keep a roster on hand so I know who everyone is. BUt its Bohls program not mine.

This is real stupid. Not surprised Bohl would do such an act.

I do not have a preference for names. When the jerseys are done being used, the names are removed anyway. So in that regard it makes sense to not use them in the first place.
