N Colorado losing

CSU Pueblo is the best team in division 2. I think UNC will be around a 6 or 7 win team this season, they have a real good quarterback. I do think the Pokes win big against them, similar to today.

Northern Colorado hasn't been a 6 win team since 2003.
They played very well at the end of last year. Also their coach that they have, in his 3rd year, is doing some good things with them. I think that they will win some games this year. I also think that Wyo will beat them handily.

This game should not ever be close. UNC fan faithful is so proud and devoted I would expect to see 30-50 of them to make the horrendous trek to Laramie on Saturday.

Nothing about scheduling this match will do the Cowboys any good at all, let's hope for better scheduling in the future and save playing UNC until they prove they can compete in a bigger conference than the RMAC, which obviously they currently can not.

I live in the Greeley area. I watched a couple of their games last year. He is not that good of a QB. He had ALOT of potential, but the coaching staff at UNC is AAAAWWWWEEEEFFFUUULLL.....I mean just terrible. The kid has went backwards in his QB skills.

The score should be crazy by the end of the 2nd quarter.

Actually I am pretty sure scheduling UNC does help out the Cowboys. It gets us a W, and thats all that matters in football. Strength of schedule only matters if your team ends up undefeated. What doesn't help us out is playing top FCS teams that can beat us (or that can beat any D-1 team) or playing an extra D-1 opponent. We schedule these games for a W, just like every team in SEC schedules a lower quality FCS team(i.e. Alabama plays Georgia St.).

Why should UW be held to playing a stronger schedule than every other school? We already play a harder schedule this year than the supposed top tier teams in our conference( Boise, Utah St., and Fresno). They all play an FCS opponent as well to pad their win column.

The only teams in our conference that don't play an FCS school this year are Hawaii & New Mexico. I don't know if I want to follow them as a model for success.

notice alot of bigger schools are scheduling and playing FCS teams and 11 have won so far, they need the $$ too, but we sure a heck don't need a repeat of Cal Poly this year, can't see it happening!!! Pokes roll big!!!!
