Second choice Applewhite.

We need to pony up the dough to get a hot up and comer. I want a young guy with a lot of energy and a high octane offense. These are the guys on the short list that meet my criteria.

Anybody who whines about wanting someone right now who will stay for the long term is putting the cart before the horse. We are not getting someone who won't want to jump up a pay grade before they have demonstrated success at Wyoming over a decade or more. These are the facts. I don't care if we get a guy who we know now will be using us as a stepping stone because right now this is not a destination job and anyone who thinks it is is nuts.

Wyoming always has and will be a stepping stone.. if we get a guy that comes in, puts 3-4 years of good football on the books, leaves the program in good shape and we keep an assistant around to coach the team when he leaves.. let's do it. Build from within, just like Boise St. has. I'm for it. Major is obviously my first choice.. has been for quite a while.
