MWC Tourney Game 1- UW vs USU

Rough way to end the career of one of the greatest ever. Feel bad for Josh. Just didnt have the horses around him to make a difference. It should be an interesting offseason.
 
Thanks for everything Josh, vallant effort, just too many missed shots, thanx for a wonderful individual year, wish you well in the draft and future.....
 
Well people said we had to shoot lights out to win the tournament and instead in the first game we shot like crap. Oh well. If it wasn't for that Rector guy pulling crap out of his ass we still might have had a chance. Seriously that guy has the ugliest shot I have ever seen and I think his shooting percentages for the season match his shot(I may be wrong but don't think he shoots a high percentage) but today he is on fire and doesn't miss.
Time to put this rebuilding season to bed. I have thoughts on next year but will wait a while before we discuss that. Gotta find out for sure who will be on the team next year.

Thanks for the memories Josh Adams. You will be missed.
 
Lieberman three points, 0-5 from three point range, zero assists, zero steals in 35 minutes. And you guys think he is the next Grabau and possibly headed to the NBA. Give me a break.

It was a wild ass rumor I heard. Figured the 1% stock I put in it was worth spreading around.

"You guys" is a biiiig stretch. There's like one dude here riding around in Liebs' jock.
 
Pretty happy I decided not to go to Vegas this year that would have been one hell of a disappointing trip.
 
Ok, the positives - the Wyo Faithful showed up in Vegas, there was yellow everywhere at UNLV.

And the other positives were......hang on.......I know there is at least one more......hang on....nope.

This game SUCKED! I am not going to make excuses but Utah State came out hit two big threes and then a two, we are down 8-0 and our defense was soft because we only had 7 players who were worried about foul trouble (Weed Gate had an affect on these guys, period). Something was amiss, Josh was flat and then in the second half the boys made a run, the crowd got into, the energy was shifting, this was the run we needed, the lead was down to 8 with Gorski taking a three to cut it to five, but no, it was partially blocked. We then got it down to 7, but F@%k we couldn't buy a shot today and Utah State was making everything. We couldn't grab a rebound, a lucky bounce, nothing....the vibe wasn't there.

Last year was such an awesome feeling winning the tourney and cutting down the nets. This year, wow, the exact opposite.

See you guys in November - going dark to emotionally recover from this season. We have to shoot better and we need bigs on the inside.
