This does not surprise me. We had some very exciting games this season and overall was a hell of a season to watch. We were 12 points away from a 12 win season.

Eastern Michigan 3 points
Unlv 3 points (I think I just threw up a little bit typing that)
3 points to San Diego state in the mwc title game
3 points to byu in the bowl game.

That's not too shabby after. Being picked last place by the conference and a two win season a year ago.

Wasn't that great! New Mexico was the only game I wanted to turn off at halftime. This season was fantastic entertainment

To be fair, we were competitive for a large portion of the Nebraska game too. I think it was probably a great learning experience for a lot of the young guys, and hopefully we'll soon have games where WE are the team turning on the afterburners and showing no mercy in the fourth when the opponents make mistakes.

We were competitive against Nebraska the score shows a blowout but it was a competitive gave 3 quarters of the way through

Well, I had pushed that game out of my head. Though to be fair, weren't we technically competitive for 3 quarters in that one as well?
