GOOD!!!

But if Hawaii comes in for football only and we grab another for all sports including footbal then, we have to add another school for all sports except football.

All of this provided TCU stays!

My guess should TCU Stay....
Add Hawaii for football only
Add Houston for all sports
Add Denver for the sports Hawaii aint in.

I honestly have to ask, are there ANY Poke fans against the addition of Hawaii? My only complaint was the other sports and jet lag. Obviously jet lag will still be a factor, but other than that, anyone actually have an issue with it?

Only their football team is coming over, and that allows for us to have an extra home game every time we visit the islands.

I want SMU. They have a huge upside and I think they are about to turn the corner with their program. They have mega wealthy boosters, great facilities, and hotbead recruiting area. It's only a matter of time before June Jones turns them into a contender. The battle for the iron skillet then becomes an in conference rivalry for TCU.

Only problem is, is that doesn't open up any new tv markets as TCU already has a strong presence there. Personally, I think Houston would be a decent fit. Still in Texas, but brand new and huge media market and recruiting area, but still allows for 2 Texas teams.

I know that a lot of SMU fans don't have very good feelings about MWC teams from the WAC days. I've read messages where both SMU and Wyoming fans have said that they did not want to be in a conference with each other again because they did not think much of each others football programs.
SMU needs more sports. They don't have baseball. They don't have men's athletics (T&F). That's why their world class thrower, Margus Hunt, plays DE. He also has a wikipedia page for being a junior world record holder and gold medalist.
Right now, June Jones is having some trouble with the SMU team. Maybe it is just the youth but Alyssa told me that some of the fans have been upset this year for different reasons.

I don't mind Hawai'i for football only and the opportunity to play a 13th game.
