Getting past BSU is a long-shot, IMO. They are playing lights out.

The good thing about facing Boise St. is we match up great against them and they have no answer for us down low but the problem is will we utilize Nance and Cooke down low or will Shyatt have them standing at the top of the key passing it around and taking jump shots? I think that is what it all boils down to.
+1 We should kill them down low

We should worry about getting into the semi's in the first place.

The stats for Nance are amazing. In a year coming off of major knee surgery, while playing over 25% of conference games while recovering from mono he ended up Top 5 in: PPG, RPG, FG%, FT%, and Min played and was Top 10 in blocks. All while anchoring the defense and frankly having to carry the burden on a team not blessed with the talent and depth of most other teams in the league. A big man that can score in a variety of ways, defend, board, and hit over 80% from the line while doing an incredibly classy job of being the face of the program? That is a once in a generation combination. Hopefully we get to see him play several more games in the Brown and Gold starting tonight.

someone please post this to the MWC forum.

I will say that for those who thought wyoming still had at large aspirations in mid February, the case of CSU clearly shows it was and had been for a long time MW tournament or bust for us. So happy that we pulled it out and didn't have to go through that.

If we could have won the MWC regular season we would have still been in. point in case: Boise.

A shoutout to Fletcher Mackel (WDSU-TV, New Orleans) for voting Wyoming #23 on his final ballot, along with Jeff Faraudo (Bay Area News Group) at #24 and T.J. Werre at #25.

No Grammer sighting. (He must still be trying to convince Wyoming fans that the Pokes are a "paper tiger".)
