MWC Friday Games

This is such a weird year for MWC football.

I really hope Wyo can get some sort of offense, and keep healthy on defense.

The MW is so bad this season that a team with a good defense and 21 points per game could win the MWC.

I agree but at the same time, Winning the MWC this year will never be considered a good title win because of how inconsistent the MWC teams have been.

Title is a Title but this years won't be considered impressive.
 
That back for SDSU has some wheels, Really impressive run by him even with the bad angle taken by the Lobos defense.
 
Fresno looks really bad tonight. Granted it's the first time I've seen them play, but wow, what a drop off.

It took them nearly an entire half before they finally got any momentum against a winless FCS team earlier in the season.
 
Ugh. That was PAINFUL watching UNM and SDSU.

1- How and why SDSU doesn't dominate this conf is beyond me. Recruiting any kid in the nation to San Diego should be a slam dunk
2- UNM's Mickey Mouse offense is a mess
3- I feel bad for the 50 or so people there watching this game. I've seen monkeys throwing poop at each other more effective than these teams.
4- The MWC is on the fast track to irrelevancy.

UNM has been bad for several years now, and SDSU can keep a lot of games close, but that doesn't mean they win them. Plus, SDSU has more QB problems then we do. How that works is beyond me, but it's there.

10 years from now, are people going to say "yeah, but it was a down year for the conference"?

It would be our first championship in about 20 years.

Honestly yes I do think people will remember it being when the conference was at it's weakest point. It doesn't matter to me I'm fine with that but there are definitely rival fans that would bring it up. Remember people bring on stuff from the 40's and 50's today still.
