Anybody else watching the Boise - Ole Miss game?

A few weird calls and dumb plays both ways so far. Boise doesn't look all that bad, but I guess that shouldn't surprise me.

Bronco defense looks much better so far....but Hedrick looks like he should play for Idaho State, not Boise State.

To be fair, Ole Miss has a solid defense and he's not the most experienced guy.

That said, I hope Yarbeast and our seconday have a fun and great day when we play them.

BSU defense has been very good....but man, I'm stunned the Broncos have nobody behind Hedrick. He is simply awful.

Bad news: Boise State's defense looks like it was retrieved its swagger.
Good news: Grant Hedrick makes Colby Kirkegaard look talented.

It feels like a Christmas for TV, Games on every station man I've never been so happy to see College football start lol!

BSU D = Wow. Amazing penetration against an OL averaging 325 lbs.
Something I've noticed about SEC o-lines the last couple of seasons. While they are certainly big, they are not very fast and not the most adept at pass blocking (Oklahoma's 218lbs DE last year burned Bama's "elite" o-linemen who had probably 100lbs on him).

Still...a lot of BSU's stops are coming right up the middle. They are getting physical....for now anyway, SEC OLs are known for wearing teams down.

If Boise's QB didn't force plays, they could've won this. 0 TDs vs 4 Interceptions makes this pretty much unwinnable, though.

Their defense looks great! Their offense though... About as predictable as we were last season but without the dynamic QB. If they open up the playbook, their QB forces it (and turns it over). If they don't, the defense keys in on the play.

This might be it for Hedrick. He cost his team the game....now Ole Miss will make this look like it was never close.

Again, I'm stunned Hedrick did well vs. Wyoming. This kid is awful.

Our defense was worse though.

Yep. Ole Miss made him make dumb mistakes when they brought the pressure. Wyoming never did that. Even in this game, he had a good completion percentage - it was just those times when he was pressured that he made some terrible mistakes.

Boise would easily be the best MW team if they had even an average QB. Just average....with Hedrick...hard to see it.
