MW Tourney passes

UW is only selling MWC Tourney tickets to season ticket holders? Great, if Wyo makes the final game against NM or SDSU, their half will be full and our lower bowl will be empty.

?

They are only selling all session passes to season ticket holders and CJC member(at least from the OP, I haven't looked). I beleive they are doing this because we have always sold out of the all session passes the school is allocated and they will sell all the all session passes we have allocated again this year. So if we made the finals I imagine our section would be full.

All three schools mentioned will easily sell out their allotment. I haven't done the research but I am pretty confident that UNM (and probably SDSU) will only be selling their all-session passes to "premium" buyers (either season ticket holders or booster club members or some combo). UNM fans usually end up buying a bunch of SJSU and AFA session passes due to the demand.

Here are prices

McPeachy, you're the type of person that deserves the right to complain. You have put up, and you don't need to shut up. I'm also not making excuses for the athletic department. Failure to please the fans that actually show up is a big problem. I'm simply illustrating the disconnect between what fans want/expect (and they're very vocal in those expectation) and what they're willing to contribute to. Do people think that the programs are infinitely funded? How do fans expect our basketball team, who is already good and deserves support, to become the top-notch program that the fans seem to demand.

I am sorry. I am old-ish, and growing more impatient as the years fly by.

I will tell you all something you probably already can guess / know...

It has been difficult being a Wyoming fan my entire life. That is why the ups, are such huge highs. And why the lows, are starting to wear me down.

None of us know the years / months / days we have left, and in the grand scheme, UW athletics really means very little. But it sure would be nice to feel like a fan of a champion again.

This thread made my mind up, I was really contemplating going to a MWC Tournament, Haven't been to a Basketball tournament in years and well I get paid enough and have vacations so it's time to enjoy one. No matter what the outcome for the year I'm going.

Next payday I'll grab a ticket upper section or w/e who cares anyway lot of you that post and go to these would be cool to meet some of you finally. I'll probably start getting plans ready this next week so on that note if splitting room cost is a viable option for anyone let me know I'm down I'm going to be there this time!

I'm thinking about driving down on that Wednesday. Might be by myself if the old man can't make it. I'd be ok with splitting a room.

Just an FYI the $220 tickets go on sale 1/16 to general public for the MWC Tournament.

That's a lower bowl all session pass? Is that for every game, even non wyoming games?

Yup I talked to them it's the only ticket they sell if you want individual game tickets you buy them at the T&M they give all the better seats to CJC & Season ticket holder and then sell the left over tickets to public. I'll pick mine up at that time.

Yes, you are correct...UW will sell to the general public starting on that date if any are left. I have tried to buy them in past years like that and have never been successful. They usually sell out of their allotment, and I'm guessing that if we have a successful next couple week there won't be many or any left for the general public.

All I wanted to do I'm my OP was to allow the Nonmembers a good chance to get tickets in the lower bowl. If you don't care about where you sit then by all means just call the Thomas and Mack and sit in the balcony or take your chances of getting UW tickets..

I personally appreciate it because if they are sold out I'm going to take your advice and buy them I absolutely plan to attend.
