Honestly, I think i'd rather have Arkansas St. and U. Louisiana Lafayette over USU and SJSU.

We've been down the SJSU path before and it is a disaster. BAD move if it comes to that. There is a fantasy that some of the millions of TV sets near SJSU would actually tune in to a football game. I'd be more in favor of working out a stronger aliance with CUSA to get teams to play.

I think the MW should just send out invites to every single FBS school that is not currently in one of tha AQ conferences and then call it the Global Super Mega Grande XL Conference.

I think USU would be ok not sure about SJSU. If we did invite USU then maybe the NCAA Football game would be more accurate in having them as our rival.

Don't understand the hate against allowing Utah State into the MWC? Their basketball team has consistently been better than Wyoming's over the past handful of seasons, and their football team is coming around nicely (they did slaughter the pokes this season). Also, if you look at the school side of things, they have a larger student body than Wyoming does. While they won't bring a lot of TVs to the table, it can't hurt to expand the recruiting base into Utah again, as they do have the population to produce a fair amount of quality recruits.
I'd much rather have Utah State than any of the other schools mentioned in this thread, and I'll even preempt MrTitleist, and say I'd much rather have them over UTSA or Texas State.
San Jose State, otoh, is pretty much terrible at both football and basketball, and would only be bringing the .mtn to the south Bay area, and not much else. However, there isn't likely a landing spot for SJSU other than the new look MWC, as I doubt the Big Sky or WCC have any openings for a California state school. Idaho would be better, but at least they have the Big Sky to fall back on.

I agree with the recruiting position if we added Utah State. With Utah in the PAC12 and byu independent they will be looking past some of the recruits they typically would have taken in the past and if we can battle USU for them we could get some quality players to our program.
