This is a no brainer for the MW. If this happens, CUSA/MW have a title game, and play for a BCS birth, the MW should absolutely jump at this. How often is the #1 CUSA team better than the 1 or 2 from the MW? My guess, never.

I don't think the MWC will act until the dust settles with the BE and potential CUSA raids and that is a good thing. Maybe we can just scoop up Houston/SMU and not deal with the whole conference. Either way, it's way too early to tell. TCU to the Big 12 is a good thing for the MWC.

At least a lot of the ESPN heads are saying the Big East is done. Where do they poach and still maintain BCS? I don't think the MW gets an autobid if the Big East dies. The BCS is changing the minimum number of teams from each conference that can be in a BCS game, so they'll just give that game to some other SEC team. Hell, it could be argued that the 3rd best SEC team is way better than the best Big East team.
