Chad's toxic standings!

It's pretty impressive that we have a positive turnover margin considering how bad that 4th quarter against the Huskers was. I guess Allen throws too hard, the defense can't catch it

How does New Mexico suck so bad then?

New Mexico's numbers are a little misleading. Their offense is so one dimensional and run heavy they rack up 10 yard runs which is pretty easy to do in their system. They have 52 rushes of 10 yards or more but their numbers will start to sink as we get deeper into conference play.

The toxic rating gets more accurate as the season goes along and we have more games to calculate. This can be seen with the Wyoming vs Air Force game as well.

This would be interesting comparing against our opponents on a game to game basis. I wonder if there's any noticeable spread in our wins and losses this year...

That's a great question and the general answer is yes. If you lose these numbers chances are you lose the game because football is about big plays and turnovers.

I just ran the numbers, I don't have a game by game break down but I do have an average score in wins and losses.

In Wins: Total score +31 divided by 4 wins = +7.75 per game

In Losses: Total score -7 divided by 2 losses = -3.5 per game

Did Nevada's turnover ratio pop out to anyone else ?
