All I can say is BS!

They thought that Nevada's running back running for 147 yards and three td's was more impressive then Herron catching the ball for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

Also on defense they decided the best effort came from a Colorado State Linebacker who had 6 fewer tackles then Korey Jones at 13 tackles in the Pokes game.

What? How did Cody Fajardo not get it? 25/32, 230 passing yards, 21 carries, 97 yards and a TD in a WIN over California?

It helps if your team wins. I don't disagree with their selections at all.

I guess in my mind it shouldn't be about winning or losing, it should be about who had the overall best day and Robert Herron had one for the ages and Korey Jones wasn't too bad himself. Maybe Co-offensive and defensive awards would have been appropriate this week, in my mind you have to consider who they did it against.
