Mountain West + Cost revealed

Isn't only one football game (Northern Colorado) actually available on this? the rest have been picked up by second tier linear television.

I suspect it will be similar with basketball. A lot of the non-conference games against Colorado Cooking School will be available through this, but I would bet at least 80% of the conference games are picked up by linear television.

This streaming platform really only makes sense for fans who want to watch wrestling, soccer, swimming, etc. For them, it's fantastic.

For fans who watch only football and basketball (a lot), all this did was replace a free MWC streaming app with a paid one. I just don't see many people signing up for this, but I guess we will see.

I’m likely to see how many basketball games are listed. If it’s only the September football game and a few hoops games in January and February I would do a monthly for those 3 months. If basketball has games November through March then I will buy an annual in September.

You can get a pretty good idea based on the games that were available via the MWC streaming app the last couple years.

For basketball, most of the home non-conference games (ie. poor competition) will likely be available. Then probably 2-4 games during the conference season.

So for folks who want this just to be able to see the football and men's basketball games not on linear television, they will have to pay $11 to see the single football game (Northern Colorado) and $33 to watch most of the non-conference basketball slate.

Not great value when you look at in that light. For people that watch non-revenue sports year round, it is a fantastic value, but I have to think there are very few of those people.

If you are planning on doing the 3 months then you should get a discounted yearly at $63 and that way you can covered. 3 months is going to equal that

I am not sure we see a ton of linear of MBB but I could be wrong. I will do the $63 and that way I am good.

Wrestling would only be for home duals...if they continue to do that. But the Big 12 schools all stream their home duals on ESPN+, outside of UNI and UVU
