No, Cleveland sports are cursed. We just suck*. Honestly I've thought Nance had a cold or something for a couple of weeks. Surprise more team members haven't been diagnosed. Hopefully Herndon gave it to SDSU and the rest of conference.

*We don't suck.

The probable spread of this disease would be through a shared water bottle. Players should never, ever drink from the same bottle or glass.

I certainly hope nobody is blaming Herndon. It is what it is. What it is really sucks. If Larry can play tomorrow, I might rest him the rest of the week. San Diego State will be tough regardless. Maybe cut our losses if we can get by the Flyboys tomorrow. Might not even need him for San Jose.

Alan needs to know that the idiot tweeting the remark below (which was then passed on to Alan) is a Hoosier fan who lives in Bloomington/Indianapolis, IN. He tweets about everything basketball (around 61,000 tweets to date). Just a stupid remark for the situation involved.

If Derek Cooke says we'll be fine...then we'll be fine. I was actually really encouraged with our bench play against CSU. Right at the right time this team is coming together....mild case of Mono??? No big deal. These guys will be ready when it counts. Go Pokes.

It's encouraging that Herndon is already getting better. Maybe we'll be spared. This has got me really nervous the way some of you describe the sickness.

You fucking kidding me???
That game is likely gonna determine the mwc champion and you wanna cut our fuckin losses and not play the mwc player of the year???

If it means having him the rest of the season, then yes I would. The travel and the physicality of that game might mean we need to sit him to be healthy for our remaining games. Certainly don't want to finish conference games without him. One loss won't break us. 15-3 or 14-4 would still win it or put us in a tie for first place.

But nice mouth punk! You're cool.

1 game against SDSU is not the same as 1 game against AFA. We can not lose to SDSU who already beat us. We need nance against sdsu. Maybe not afa but we don't sit him in a game that has huge championship implications.

If it comes down to it I would Sit Larry tomorrow against AFA. I think AFA comes out a little bit flat tomorrow after their big win against New Mexico on Wednesday and we would still have a great shot to beat them without Larry .

Then we have him for SDSU for sure. Sounds like Herndon will be back in the next 2 to 3 games as well.

Obviously if Larry can play tomorrow also all the better. Sounds like he won't be missing more than tomorrows game at worst.

That's the opposite of how I would play it. Must beat AFA, I repeat MUST beat AFA. @ SDSU we don't necessarily have to win, but, of course, would be awesome. Win tomorrow and then put Larry on bed rest until he is well.

I think you missed my point. Sorry for the confusion.

What I mean is it sounds like the only game Larry could miss at all is the AFA game. He isn't going to miss the SDSU from the sounds of it. So at worst you don't have him tomorrow and again I think we can still beat AFA without him as I think AFA will be a little bit flat after their big win against UNM.
