They (especially boize fans) seem to be sure that they will have P5 status. I don't see it.

All of these schools were leftovers. Scraping together leftovers will not change that fact. Until schools from the current P4 shake free (ACC breakup) there will be 4 power conferences only.

They won't. They won't even be in the same division once the p4 or p2 split happens. Very few schools are going to be able to afford revenue share and effectively unlimited scholarships

Dumbest thing the MWC did was provide a scheduling agreement to WSU and OSU. It allowed those schools to regroup, save up the PAC money and then destroy the MWC.

This 1000%. We provided them with shelter and time to plan a way to kill us.

Population base. I would not be shocked if UNLV and another school from California -Davis or San Jose?- are also being considered.

The press conference had no information. They don't know if they will get help on the exit fees, they "are confident" the media package will be better, and they touted the academics of the schools (here's looking at you Boise State).

SDSU fans have had delusions of grandeur since they joined. I think there was significant pressure from high $ donors.

I'm curious what their TV deal will be. OSU and WSU aren't huge markets or draws. So really you only increased your value by adding fewer mouths to feed.
