Montana State prediction

Haven't heard about what everyone thinks truly about this game during game week. I think it'll take us about a quarter to get everything thing rolling and we take care of the Bobkitties, 33-21, some costly and growing mistakes will be seen on both sides of the ball, and Chambers comes back after some mistakes and leads the Pokes to a good hard fought victory

I’m thinking 27-10, but it won’t feel that close. The MSU board is quick to point out that we gave up an average of 21 points last year, but it’s skewed towards the early part of the season. Additionally we were breaking in a new DC and our entire starting D Line opted out. We also had absolutely no offense with Sean out and Williams injured, hurting the D big time with lack of possession.

I think we dominate on D, but struggle a little bit on O initially before we wear them down in the second half. Look for a couple turnovers by our D and 3+ sacks.

WYO 42
MSU 17 (10 when the game is out of hand)

WYO rolls in this one. The Bobcat O line won't hold up and the offense will be playing tight. They didn't have a game last season, have a new coaching staff, and it will take a little time for their system to gel in live action. Vigen is going to try to keep this close into the 4th quarter and sneak out a W. As we know all too well, to make that work, you have to get first downs. That won't happen and he won't have the WYO D to fall back on. They'll get some push early on the defensive side of the ball from a pretty decent D line but once the game settles in, the WYO run game will be more than enough to overpower. Once the run game is on track, I expect some experimenting with the pass which will work and lead to more scoring than we are used to.

Vegas says 31-13, Pokes. I say 45-20. We seem to have good energy and put up points in game 1. The last few years anyhow. Vigen will make sure to score. Expecting risks and trickery to shut us all up. Going with the over.

If anyone watched the UAB v. Jacksonville State game Wednesday night, that looked like a bit of a dress rehearsal/ preview of our game on Saturday.

Good guys win it, 34-7.

You do realize Brent "Scoring-Is-Overrated" Vigen is probably calling the plays...

I don't see them scoring more than twice. Less than 200 yards of offense.
