I was aware, they lost to Houston...It doesn't matter, those numbers speak for themselves.

Point is, even if we win out and lost the tourney championship, our numbers wouldn't be any better than those (except a few more wins and very slightly better RPI).

They lost in the first round of their conference tourney. You didn't mention that. That is a huge reason why they were left out.

Not only that, but they also had a three-game losing streak going into Selection Sunday.

I think right now, we are more comparable to where SMU was going into those last three games.

They were 23-6, 12-4 in conference play. We are 21-6, 10-4 in conference play. We've also had a stretch of games without our best player (something the committee takes into consideration).

Yes, 3 game losing streak, BUT 2 of those 3 losses were to top 20 teams. If we were to lose our last 3 but 2 were to Top 20 teams it would actually help our case because it would boost our SOS.
