Well, Mitch Unrein the former Poke is one game away from making his life-long dream come true.

Mitch grew up in Colorado and was a Denver Bronco fan growing up.

We all know the story by now. Walk-on at Wyo. Became a bad ass. Un-drafted by any NFL teams. Signed by Houston, then cut. Signed by his childhood favorite team, Denver. For the last couple seasons has been a major player in the defense.
Now, one win away from being a SuperBowl champ on the Denver Broncos.

I read an article a year ago about how he used to play football in a John Elway jersey in the front yard wanting to be a Denver Bronco.
Now, he works for Elway and is playing in the biggest game of football at any level.

A Broncos win tomorrow would be sweet for me, but especially sweet for him.

Peyton is not choking. Just running the totally predictable plays his offensive coordinator failed to change for the Superbowl (a lot like our dear departed Dave). The commercials are new, innovative. The Seahawks imaginative, mixing it up on offense. But not the Broncos. And, like the Pokes last year, a weak offensive line. But Peyton's lack of mobility makes it worse. That is why Smith will be drafted by Denver.

Peyton's choking plain and simple. Greatest regular season QB but half-decent in the playoffs.

Peyton didn't choke.. stupid to say that. Defense never getting a stop on 3rd down, special teams problems with Trindon Holliday + calling for Prater to kick short to start the 2nd half were huge problems. Football's a team sport, and the team didn't come out to play. Offensive line allowed the Seattle front four to be in Peyton's face pretty often.. just awful last night.
