Military Appreciation Night

This might lead to the end of DC. Too much negative public attention for the University. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone next week.

Even "bad" publicity is good publicity...if you know what I mean.

It would be a mistake of Burman to shitcan DC mid season, or even at the end of the season.

If UW was smart...they would ride this bitch out.

Nobody is commenting on what incited DC in this situation (other than the pussy Dietz and Calhoun acting like a tool). Check the beginning of the video...somebody said something to DC, to get the "FUCK YOU" reponse out of the gate.

So here is a good question. Not saying anything like this will happen or what will come of this but just hypothetical obviously.

Should Wyoming decide it is too much bad publicity for the University and they fire Christensen, do they still have to pay him his remaining contract? I would think this might fall under some sort of breach of contract and allow Wyoming to get out of it? Would be curious to know the answer.

It comes down to the contract language which typically includes "for cause" provisions. Usually, the two sides reach a settlement somewhere in the middle of ZERO and the early termination required payment.

That said, I don't think this will lead to his firing (but a lot of people will be calling for his dismissal).

Definitely a good question. Anyone have CDC's contract? That stuff is usually public record.

What this doesn't show is troys wink to his guys, seeing this camera guy, and all the smirking in his face prompting more comments.

The defense having more time is how afa justifies it... It did benefit afa, they have had chance to warmup the backup, if he comes in cold maybe he doesn't score... it helped them or they wouldn't have done it..... twice. I need to find the video of them doing the same vs michigan.

Thanks. Look at C1. under #8.....followed by the concluding paragraph that starts with "Such termination shall...."

On the bright side of things, I think we can put the worries of our HC leaving for a bigger program away for quite a while. So dammit, let's win out and then win the conference next year and go to a big bowl game next year and get the program really moving in the right direction.

this will be news for about 2 minutes and be over with. It may have re brought up the situation internally, but nationally they don't care about Wyoming football. The Whole Military Appreciation Day thing adds quite an awkward twist however

What I don't get, and it's been mentioned before, is that it should have also given the defense more time to figure out what adjustments needed to be made. I could be wrong but the failure to stop them still falls squarely on the shoulders of our defense. Faking injuries no doubt is classless, but I only see it having a real effect in a situation like Cal vs Oregon a few years ago where the defense was faking injuries to to slow down the tempo of the offense.

Well the issue here is the QB lost his helmet so he had to be taken out as if you lose your helmet you have to sit the next play. It's not bad when someone else loses their helmet you can replace them with anyone. Losing the QB makes it practically impossible to run the next play without using a timeout or something.

Troy had a shit eating grin on his face just like he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

People who me this into a military bashing.....for lack of better words.....are dumb.
Its about football....rivalry... ask former players how they feel about the zoomies......football team :twocents:

I think Coach D is a pimp now and WOULD be fucking pissed off if we fired him mid season. That is just dumb to think that. and if they do..... well fuck it. it would be hard for me to support wyo football for YEARS
