Mike Reilly to Nebraska

Im excited though. I think the Beavs needed some new blood in the program.

So, they get rid of a guy who consistently wins 9 games a year to hire a guy who is anything but consistent? He's barely over .500 in record. Only difference is, is that Nebraska has no in state competition. There's that, I guess.
 
I actually think it is a great hire by Nebraska and a great move by Riley. It was getting time for him to move on from OSU but he is a great coach. He knows how to develope talent which is something Nebraska needs to do. They get good talent but not at the level they need to compete with the blue-bloods of college football so they need someone to develope that talent and Mike Riley can do that. And he will have an easier time recruiting to nebraska that he did to OSU. He goes to a higher profile program in an easier conference. I think it could work out. But it does suck, I like Mike Riley but HATE NU. IT is funny to see the Husker fans going crazy though.

He will be able to get the O-Line he needs in Lincoln for his offense.
Things were getting a little... old here in Corvallis.

This is what Beaver fans wanted. They wanted to get rid of Riley but knew the AD wasn't going to fire him.
