Mike Moser out

I never cheer for another teams player to have an injury, but Wyomings chances just got a lot better in the MWC tonight as Mike Moser from UNLV dislocated his elbow.

Dave Rice said the best case scenario is 3 weeks but he may miss the whole season.

Huge hit for UNLV good new for UW but hope he is ok in the future.

Hope he recovers quickly. UNLV is one program that can handle a loss like this, especially with Birch coming in and Bennett turning out to be every bit as good as the hype.

The MWC is scary good this year, with or without Moser.

+1

Hope the kid ends up being okay. Getting to sleep at night with an injury like that is awful.

It always sucks to see a guy get hurt. Hopefully he'll get back on the court soon and everything is fine.

Still, Wyoming might be better off with him on the floor. Last year he couldn't shoot against Wyoming. He still got 12 boards, but he missed a lot of big shots against Wyoming. I was talking to some Rebs about this and they told me the offense doesn't go through Moser anymore. He's still got a scorers roll, but he's not the focus of the offense.

Last year though, Moser's misques helped Wyoming beat UNLV and almost beat them again in Vegas.

There is no way that wyoming is in better shape with moser on the floor. It's mike moser. NBA draft pick for sure.

Even if he doesn't seem to match up with us well, w/out moser unlv is bound to lose another game or two, maybe 3 in conference. Therefore helping us.
I think NM is #1, UNLV was #2 and us and sdsu are about tied for 3rd, but now I think that NM is #1 w/UNLV SDSU and WYO all being roughly tied for 2-4

That still doesn't change the fact, that during the game in Laramie and the regular season game in Vegas I was hoping Moser would shoot the ball.

Yes, they're better with him, but Mike Moser's lack of mental game costs you valuable possessions, and in big games he can cost you wins.
