Not ever going to happen in the NCAA. A few select teams are going to kick the crap out of every other team. They need to get this under control or college football is over for 99.5% of the teams.

I think we pretty much reached that point about 10-15 years before players started getting paid.

2016 class is really first of this new era. Since that time, 20 of 21 4/5 star qb recruits have transferred.

I don't know the solution but I don't think college fans are going to like completely new rosters each year.

Oh - there are contracts! And the wise folks giving the NIL money are going to start putting liquidated damages provisions in them so the next Quinn Ewers won't be able to bail on Ohio State after accepting the original NIL money without financial repercussions. These NIL contracts will start to become very sophisticated.
