men's team at the game?

Wasn't able to make it to the game, (great job cowgirls!!!) but did anyone see the men's team or schroyer there? Just kind of wanting to know if they are giving their support?

After seeing several Australians -- primarily for St. Mary's -- playing well during the NCAA men's tournament games, I'm wondering if Joe couldn't help Heath establish a pipeline for players down under. Afterall, the foreigners that Heath's been recruiting haven't exactly been setting the world on fire.

Didnt make it last night because of the roads but the only person I saw in the first game was Afam and he didnt look very interested. He was more concerned with his Ipod and texting

I was at the game last night and did look around for Heath and any of the men's players. I did not see them but then again the game was to good to take my eyes off of. Schroyer and the mens team could learn some things from the girls team!

I didn't go out of my way to look really...but I did see Vandiver (go figure his daughter was playing and reached the 1000 point mark). Not that it matters at this point, but is there anyone left on the men's team to show up in the first place?

By the way, I saw a shit-ton of football players, and DC himself & his better half were there.

Think I saw Waddell leaving the game. Was quite a way in front in the concourse but think it was him.

With all due respect, this is kind of a dumb topic to me. Yes it would be nice if the mens team is at the games, and I'm sure the majority of them are there, but lets not go on a Salem witch trial-head hunt for them just because we are all disappointed in the team.

Sit back and enjoy the cowgirls

I call bullcrap on that.
It is an issue.
It is about being a part of the university, not isolating yourself on an island.
Christensen and his wife showed up.
And if it isn't a big deal why did Schroyer make such an issue out of his team showing up the last time, so they could feel the excitement and see what winning meant? Remember, they marched into the arena in mass so that everybody would notice.

Is Schroyer in town? I can't quite remember all of the dates in the recruiting period in terms of dead periods, etc., but with the spring signing period coming up and the Pokes still in need of at least 2 players he could be out on the road recruiting.

I am sure most of the players are at the games, but the coaching staff may have other obligations.

His first job is to build a competitive, winning, Men's Basketball program (which he has failed to do on an astounding scale). I hope he is out recruiting, if it is allowed, and not in Laramie.

Exactly, some people should just enjoy what the women team is doing. I too hope Heath is out getting us some player who can help us win NOW. I saw where we are recruiting a JC combo guard who was pre-season JC all american who shoots over 40% from the land of 3. Hopefully we can get a guy who can shoot and play point for us next year and is over 6'0" tall.

Yes, he has been in town.
Out recuriting players to make us a competitive, winning team? That would be nice to do for a change. But then he might have to admit he has done something wrong. You know his only concerns are the fans aren't supportive enough, the kids get hurt, and they are young.

So by that logic I guess all athletic teams should be attending all other events too. Why wasn't the mens team at the UW wrestling matches? or Cowgirl Tennis? Or UW swimming? I agree all teams need to show support for each other wherever they can but give me a break. It sounds like an angry mob looking for the first person to lynch. Thats not going to solve the issues facing Cowboy basketball.

Maybe we should install scanners at every ticket gate that inform everyone in the AA whether Boubacar Sylla just swiped his card for the womens game or not.
