Men and women vs. Fresno

That looked like an acl or mcl tear to me but hopefully it will only end up being a sprain. Hope Nance is okay and gets lucky and it isn't as bad as it looked.

Doesn't really matter if he went to the locker room or not. In that situation the athletic trainer probably gave him the choice to go to the locker room or stay and watch.
 
Got to give Wyoming tons of credit after losing their best player they weathered the storm and still got the win.

Now let us hope and pray that there is a miracle and Nance's knee is only like a sprain or something not severe.
 
Well, Sobey had a heck of a night by anyone's standards. No way we win this game without him. He and Nance played great, but everybody else kind of stunk I thought. Good to get a win though and hope Nance is ok.

Don't forget Ugo Udezue. It's easy to forget that Ugo averaged over 20 ppg as a sophomore. Was never the same after the knee injury.

Afam Muojeke is another notable casualty.
 
Schyatt just said he thought the injury to Nance was pretty bad. He said he told the kids Larry would be back, it might be 4 or 5 months, but he would be back. Guess we will all know more tomorrow, but if the coach thinks he's done, then he's probably done.
 
Well I sure as hell hope someone is ready to fill some really big shoes or we're in trouble again :(

Jesus....I tend to ignore superstitious stuff in sports, but I swear the sports gods hate Wyoming. Not even a week after the SDSU win this happens. Next time Wyoming gets a massive win in a sport (basketball, football, whatever).....drink yourself asleep! Cause you don't know what will happen the next day.

To piggy back off of WestWYO; the mechanism of Larry's injury is almost identical to Chuckie Keeton's of USU...

ACL and/or MCL is the concern.

Yeah I figured it was the exact same thing right when i saw him step down on it as hard as he did. I knew when he stepped that hard and went down it most likely wasn't going to be good. Looked like an acl or mcl to me as well.

I feel bad for Nance and hope he can come back better next year. Also feel bad for Shyatt and the team. Last year it was the Martinez incident and now this happens to this team. They were playing very good ball and who knows what they might have done in the conference tournament. Just disgusting really.

I was looking forward to every game this year and hoping we could make a run. Sucks the air out of it. Well hopefully the rest of the team can step up and just play their hearts out the rest of the year and do the best they can.
