I don't mean to be an asshole, but that dude looked like a waste of a scholarship in the very limited action he saw earlier this season. I don't think he even belongs at the D1 level. The coaches were singing Neil Summers praises in a press conference a few weeks ago. Say his redshirt year has gone really well, and that he's able to simulate a lot of good looks on the scout team. Hopefully he's ready to rock next season.
I don't think you are being an asshole...he looked slow, soft, and deer-in-headlights bad. Maybe in 3 or 4 years that will be different. We likely will see.I don't mean to be an asshole, but that dude looked like a waste of a scholarship in the very limited action he saw earlier this season. Hopefully he makes me eat my words, but I just cannot imagine a scenario in which he can even be a marginal contributor next season.
He didn’t look any worse than Saxon or Saadi when I saw himI don't mean to be an asshole, but that dude looked like a waste of a scholarship in the very limited action he saw earlier this season. I don't think he even belongs at the D1 level.

I watched him in High school a few times as my son was on an opposing team. I think he will take some time but will be a Zach Rudolf (Grizzlies) type of player. He isn't going to rise up and dunk on someone. He doesn't have that type of athleticism. He can use his large body very well and has a very soft touch around the rim. I think his Soph year and maybe next year he can be a rotational type of player and get you 6 to 8 points a game just by taking up space and finishing easy buckets. That is my take. He seems like a good kid and loves being at UW so we shall see what the future brings. His senior year, if he stays here, he could be pretty tough to handle under the basket.I don't mean to be an asshole, but that dude looked like a waste of a scholarship in the very limited action he saw earlier this season.
