This is proof that Bohl carries with him name recognition and reputation. Honestly, I have seen our D do some great things, but see it also get shredded. I am still a little timid to say Wyoming has a better than average D.
How about this.....Michigan State allowed two fewer points to Oregon than Wyoming did. And, we gave the Ducks a short field on at least 3 occasions.

Oregon's first team offense scored TD's on 6 of their 7 possessions and made it to the WYO 2 on the other and left with a 41-7 lead in the 3rd quarter. Even the 2nd team Oregon offense didn't have that much trouble. We stopped them one and they scored a TD on the next possession before just holding the ball to finish the game.

Against Michigan St., Oregon had to punt 7 times and were in a dogfight until the 4th quarter. No comparison IMO.

You think we can move the ball? And not turn it over?

I see this being a game where Wick and May combine for less than 100 and Colby tosses 3 picks.

Michigan States defense is brutal. Our offense is not good, not even MWC good, much less Top 10 good.
I said "so long as we move the ball and not turn it over", that means if we do those 2 things, we have a chance. If not, then we lose.

Fucking hell, moving to Oregon State has really turned you into a sheep or even a BYU fan. Damn.

Well jeez by what you are saying sure, if we move the ball and don't turn it over we have a shot. Might as well say if we score more points than the other team we will win.

And don't think my pessimism about our football team is recent, or has anything to do with me moving.
Go look up old threads starting with Brett declaring for the draft then Thompson transferring. That is when I became down on our football team.

Yeah, if we play well, then we play well, that goes without saying. But odds are we don't move the ball on them at all. I wouldn't be surprised if we got blanked.

+1

Our defense should do great this game. Offensively, we got to find a way to sustain drives and score. Thats the bottom line.

Doesn't really matter if we as fans think we can beat MSU or not.

Only matters if the players believe it. I certainly hope they do.
