Bohl said sophomore D.J. May will move from running back to the defensive secondary next season.
Bohl first said this on his radio coaches show Monday.
May has been a running back since he signed with UW three years ago. He suffered a season-ending knee injury prior to the Oct. 25 game at Colorado State.
"We need find a way to get our best players on the field, and we feel D.J. has the ability as one of those guys," Bohl said.
UW returns Wick and Hill next season at running back. Josh Tapscott will be a sophomore next season and Nico Evans will be a redshirt freshman.
Bohl said May could play safety or a nickel cornerback in pass situations.
Bohl said as of now there are no other plans to move players to different positions next season.
