Wait. And we have several that are pissed that DC got on to players on the sideline?
Besides there is a big difference from a coach getting on to a kid and a coach that berates a kid and throws and hits him with objects. BIG DIFFERENCE!
Maybe he has changed. If this is so, why is NO FBS school going after this guy, who had success at the BCS level and is currently having success at the FCS level?
 
NO to Mangino. He would be a very divisive hire from the get-go. Can't imagine his recruiting would be great in light of his time at KU, and other than his one great year at KU (which granted was a very GREAT year), not really that impressive of a resume.

And once again, I may be the only one, but he is 57 and his health would be a very big concern for me. I can't imagine a man that large having many more good years physically ahead of him.
 
I don't get the love for Mangino he never beat the elite in the Big XII and look at his conference record.

23-41 in the Big XII does that sound familiar. This would be a retread of DC can't beat the elite in the conference and beating up on the non conference schedule to be close to a bowl game each year.

The great year they had they didn't play Oklahoma, Texas or Texas Tech. Also they only played three ranked teams going 2-1 and one of those teams finished outside the top 25 at the end of the year.

Thank you for reminding me of that point about KU's one good year as well. I remember that as well now too that they didn't have to play OU or UT.
