Man... I hope we can kick a field goal this year

Last year our fg unit looked like The Sand Lot. Watching them made me feel exactly the same as when I have to call customer service for a Windows issue. Frustrated! Some of the punt, pass, and kick youth kids had better days than us.

I don't know what's worse, 200 lb defensive ends, or lazy-eyed field goal kickers.

It's a joke, not trying to ruffle anybody's knickers. But we had to be one of the worst fg units in cowboy history

I was really waiting to see if the kicker would come out with his helmet on backwards.

Like Nevada? Let's give the team a little credit. As bad as we were, we beat a bowl team who won their bowl game. It was also the game we lost one of the best receivers in the nation...which affected our ability to stretch the field after the Nevada game.

O.K. In my defense....I was stuck in a hospital trying to recover from hernia surgery the last half of the season..
 
I hope Rothe can develop into a power leg with accuracy.. basically what ever ST coaches wants. There's some hope for him.
 
I think we may be the only fan base in D1 FBS football where we can find the silver lining (and celebrate it) when we had what was maybe the worst season in our existence, coupled with 2 of the worst losses in the history of the 124 year program.

We were getting all our losses out of our system last year so we could 12-0 this year

Let's go one step further...for all you saying undefeated all the way, 15 & 0, let's bet $100 on it...and if I win I will donate half back to the CJC or to the Wyonation tailgate beer fund - your choice. Oh, and I'll give you a bazillion to 1 odds - just to entice the wagers.
 
It should definitely be noted that I'm kinda the opposite of a sunshine pumper this year and think 5-7 would take some lucky bounces, and that pinning our hopes and dreams on two drives of D1 football is foolish...I just thought I'd catch less flak for saying "we want bama"

I just love driving the buddies I made while on Sports Hawaii crazy about that. Still the worse shutout loss they ever had!
 
:rofl: Only at good ole WYO. We celebrate a win against a team that finished ranked somewhere between 72 and 108 depending on which ranking you look at, and we call that a good win. Yes, I realize they won a bowl game....against a bad CSU team that ended up ranked somewhere between 76-93 depending on which ranking you look at.

I know the worst season in WYO history has been over for awhile and the goggles are getting a little darker shade of brown and gold, but COME ON MAN. Damn.
 
Yeah, having a somewhat automatic 3 points on the board this year will keep us in more games unlike last year, please kicking Gods help us out this year
