Stanford has some value in football, they would fit in nicely with academics of the Big10 and if Notre Dame joins. Cal doesn't really offer anything other than a mediocre football program with an apathetic fan base and no market value. Cal, Oreg St, WSU are all in precarious positions at this time.Wyokie said:laxwyo said:I don’t see a scenario where the majority of the MW end up with Stanford and Cal. My guess on the Bay Area schools...Stanford heads for the Big Ten as a condition made by Notre Dame to have ND join the Big Ten. As for Cal, who knows.
BTW, should Wazzu and Oregon State end up in the MW, I could see the MW adding Gonzaga for all the Olympic sports and keeping Hawaii for football only.
