Hmmm. I hope it really is significant...UW could use the boost considering the outlook from the state on mineral taxes and financial turns.
The last major gift I remember (athletically speaking only) is when the Martin & McMurray family donated $5,000,000 toward the building of the tennis complex, IPF, and something else (that got lopped off the books when the UW AD department failed to quickly contract and pull the trigger on construction).
Sure would be nice to jump back on the AA project, and get that bitch done. The 1/2 done interior project, is a failure in my eyes (regardless of the increase in floor space / room).
